P6.8-M shabu seized from Caloocan motorist on Christmas Eve

MANILA, Philippines — Police seized a kilo of crystal meth or “shabu” valued at P6.8 million at a Caloocan City checkpoint last Tuesday, Christmas Eve.

Arrested for possession of illegal drugs was Gapar Ramos Dibangkitun, 18.  He was busted in Barangay 188, Tala, Caloocan City, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.


Police said they flagged down the motorcycle-riding Dibangkitun, who sped off instead.<

He eventually lost control and collided with another vehicle and fell from his motorbike.


When frisked, he yielded a teabag stuffed with the contraband.
