2 kids dead in Tondo fire

MANILA, Philippines — Two kids died in a fire that broke out in a residential building in Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila on Wednesday morning, according to initial information from the Bureau of Fire Protection – Manila.

Senior Fire Officer 3 Edilberto Cruz identified the fatalities as Aliyah and Anastacia Morales, aged nine and one, respectively.

Cruz said in an interview that the fire started at 9:16 a.m and was declared fire out at 9:39 a.m. /je
