Alleged drug trader slain in Tagbilaran City buy-bust
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol —- A 26-year-old alleged drug peddler was killed in a firefight with the police in this city on Wednesday morning.
Police said Rodel “Mutring” Duallo, was in city police watchlist.
After receiving information about Duallo’s alleged illegal activities, the city police conducted a buy-bust operation at past 7 a.m. at his rented house in Barangay Cogon on Wednesday.
During the operation, an undercover policeman was able to buy a sachet of suspected shabu from the suspect for P500.
Police said Duallo sensed that he was dealing with a law enforcer, prompting the latter to immediately enter his house and start the firefight.
The policemen were left with no choice but to fire back at Duallo.
