MANILA, Philippines — Several schools suspended classes following a magnitude 6.1 earthquake that struck some parts of Luzon on Monday afternoon
As of 1 pm, the following schools have announced class suspensions for Tuesday, April 23:

- Mandaluyong – classes in all levels
- Manila-all levels public and private
- Laguna – classes in all levels
- Malolos, Bulacan
- Pateros – classes in all levels
- Pampanga – classes in all levels public and private and government work
- Nueva Ecija – classes in all levels and government work
- Zambales – classes in all levels public and private and government work
SCHOOLS:

- Ateneo de Manila University – in Loyola school
- Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros – school-related activities and office work
