MANILA, Philippines — Several schools suspended classes following a magnitude 6.1 earthquake that struck some parts of Luzon on Monday afternoon

As of 1 pm, the following schools have announced class suspensions for Tuesday, April 23:

AREAS:

• Angeles City, Pampanga – classes in all levels
• Mandaluyong – classes in all levels
• Manila-all levels public and private
• Laguna – classes in all levels
• Malolos, Bulacan
• Pateros – classes in all levels
• Pampanga – classes in all levels public and private and government work
• Nueva Ecija – classes in all levels and government work
• Zambales – classes in all levels public and private and government work

SCHOOLS: 

• Adamson University – classes in all levels and office work
• Ateneo de Manila University – in Loyola school
• Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros – school-related activities and office work
• College of the Holy Spirit in Manila – classes in all levels and office work except maintenance
• De La Salle University – classes and office work
• Far Eastern University – Alabang, Diliman, Makati and Manila campuses, including all office work
• Holy Angel University in Angeles Pampanga
• Malayan College in Laguna
• IACADEMY – classes are suspended as well as other school-related activities
• Mapua University Intramuros Campus
• Makati University Makati Campus
• Philippine Science High School – Central Luzon campus in Angeles, Pampanga
• Philippine Women’s University – classes and office work
• Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Bataan, Cabiao, Santa Maria, and Pulilan branches and campuses, except security personnel and building inspectors
• Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila
• University of Makati
• University of the Philippines Diliman Extension Program in Pampanga
• University of Santo Tomas – including all office work
• University of the Philippines Diliman Extension Program in Pampanga
