Woman hurt after being hit by stray bullet in Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines — A woman was rushed to a hospital after she was hit by a stray bullet in Pasay City on Wednesday morning, police said.

According to Pasay City Police, Annie Budeos was walking along Aurora Street corner Tolentino Street, Brgy 108, Zone 12 when the suspect identified as Renz Pineda fired at a certain “Kalbo” but missed, hitting Budeos instead in the stomach.


The suspect then escaped still armed with the unknown caliber of gun, as the victim was rushed to Pasay City General Hospital.

The victim is now in stable condition, police said Thursday, citing information from the victim’s attending doctor.

Operatives of the Central Park Community Precinct have launched a manhunt operation agains the suspect. /kga
