MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte said former Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II should just be a traffic aide, citing Roxas’ old video which showed him managing vehicular traffic.

“During the intermission, there were advertisements. Roxas was managing traffic. Uy Roxas, if that is the only thing that you are capable of doing, you should have worked as a traffic aide instead,” the President said during the Distribution of Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) in Negros Occidental on Friday.

Duterte said this after he explained that during the 2016 Presidential elections, he did not have any money for campaign advertisements.

“You know that when I ran, I didn’t have money. I didn’t even have a TV advertisement during the presidential debates,” he said.
