Drug suspect slain in Bulacan shootout

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, BULACAN—Police killed a suspected drug pusher who engaged them in a shootout during a buy-bust operation here Friday evening.

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said Abdulmalic Amdag, who was included in their drugs watch list, fired shots at the policemen while trying to evade arrest.

Police recovered from Amdag a .38-caliber revolver, “shabu” (crystal meth), and drug paraphernalia.

Six other suspected drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in other towns early this week. Carmela Reyes-Estrope/lzb
