Cops nab woman in QC drug bust

Members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested a woman, who yielded sachets of illegal drugs, during a buy-bust operation along Kamias Road in Barangay Pinyahan on Wednesday.

Based on a report, the Special Drugs Enforcement Unit of QCPD Station 10 conducted the drug sting in front of an apartelle and collared Rozelle “Paloma” Ganancial. Police said they recovered from the suspect four sachets of suspected shabu as well as the two P100 bills used as buy-bust money.

According the QCPD, Ganancial will be facing charges for violation of Sections V and XI of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Alyssa Javier, INQUIRER.net intern
