MANILA, Philippines?Vice President Noli de Castro and Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile scored ?moderate? net satisfaction ratings, Chief Justice Reynato Puno a ?neutral? net satisfaction rating, and House Speaker Prospero Nograles a ?poor? net satisfaction rating in the Fourth Quarter 2009 Social Weather Survey of the Social Weather Stations.

Conducted on Dec. 5-10 last year, the survey found that De Castro scored a net satisfaction rating of +23 (52 percent satisfied, 28 percent dissatisfied), while Enrile scored a rating of +19 (46 percent satisfied, 27 percent dissatisfied).

Puno had a net rating of +1 (33 percent satisfied, 32 percent dissatisfied), while Nograles had a net rating of -20 (21 percent satisfied, 40 percent dissatisfied).

De Castro?s latest rating was nine points lower than his score of +32 in the survey conducted in September 2009, and just one point above his historically lowest score of +22 in May 2005.

Enrile?s rating has been moderate over the past three quarters, SWS noted in its release Friday.

It said Nograles? rating, on the other hand, ?has been poor since SWS began surveying it on March 2008.?

Meanwhile, the net satisfaction ratings for top government institutions were at a ?moderate? +27 for the Senate (51 percent satisfied, 24 percent dissatisfied), +18 for the Supreme Court (45 percent satisfied, 27 percent dissatisfied), +9 for the House of Representatives (38 percent satisfied, 30 percent dissatisfied) and -1 for the Cabinet as a whole (34 percent satisfied, 35 percent dissatisfied).

The Senate?s rating was lower by 3 points from +30 in June and September 2009, while the House?s satisfaction rating was similar to its +10 rating in the previous round. Inquirer Research
