PRC posts latest electrical engineer, master electrician board exam passers
MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Thursday that 4,436 out of 7,005 takers passed the April 2024 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination.
Raymond Geoman from the Cebu Institute of Technology-University was the batch’s topnotcher with a 95 percent rating, followed by Mark Oppus from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa with a 94.40 percent rating, and John Jacob from the University of Cebu in Lapulapu and Mandaue with a 94.10 percent rating.

The University of Batangas was named the batch’s top-performing school with a passing rate of 96.20 percent, followed by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas at 90.38 percent, and the Iloilo Science and Technology at 89.69 percent.
Master electricians
In the same announcement, the PRC said that 629 out of 1,220 examinees passed the April 2024 Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination.
Article continues after this advertisementMariclaire Larugal from Isabela State University-Ilagan was the topnotcher with a 92.50 percent rating, followed by John Bibat of the Bohol Island State University-Tagbilaran, while Ronnel Datos of the Southern Luzon State University-Lucban and Mark Limbago of the Bohol Island State University-Balilihan both scored 90 percent to share the third highest-scoring spot.

It added that 17 takers also passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Electrical Engineers.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced at a later date, the PRC added.
