MANILA, Philippines -- Cebu Pacific cancelled 10 Manila-Caticlan-Manila flights Thursday morning following the closure of a runway at the Caticlan airport in Malay, Aklan.
The airline said Flights 895, 896, 897, 898, 899, 900, 901, 902, 913 and 914 were cancelled while all afternoon flights are still on hold.
"Cebu Pacific is mounting three extra flights using its Airbus A319 aircraft to Kalibo, Aklan to accommodate affected passengers," the airline company said in a public advisory e-mailed to media outfits at 11:30 a.m.

A small Zest Airways Inc. plane overshot Runway 6 at Caticlan around 8 a.m. today. Its 55 passengers and 2 crew members were unhurt in the mishap.
