MANILA, Philippines -- A total of 5,998 examinees passed the career service examinations that took place last March 29, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said on Tuesday.
The total number of passers comprised 10 percent of the 60,009 examinees who took the exam. Of the number, 4,312 or 71.89 percent were successful examinees of the Professional level while the rest were passers of the Sub-Professional test.
The top 10 successful examinees from the professional level were:

2. Christrella Marey Garcia (NCR) -- 90.47%
3. Alaine Revote (NCR) -- 90.41%
4. Julie Ann G. Diano (C. Visayas) -- 90.23%
5. Chester B. Villafaña (NCR) -- 90.07%
6. Angeli A. Alagcan (Davao Peninsula) -- 89.88%
7. Ericson James D. Pacaba (NCR) -- 89.79%
8. Jan Niña Michelle C. Pimentel (Bicol) -- 89.71%
9. Mark Jerome B. De Leon (NCR) -- 89.67%
10. Joel G. Simpao (NCR) -- 89.63%
The top 10 successful examinees from the sub-professional level were:
1. Romina Shayne T. Gabriel (NCR) -- 92.68%
2. Marijun Katrina G. Cual (C. Visayas) -- 92.28%
3. Jimuel C. Torres (S. Tagalog) and Aldrick Daven M. Mendoza (NCR) -- 91.13%
4. Fatma Aleah A. Datukon (Davao Peninsula) -- 90.97%
5. Ruby Anna G. Platino (NCR) -- 90.87%
6. Dominic G. Oebanda (S. Tagalog) -- 90.38%
7. Kenneth Arkin P. Galasinao (Cagayan Valley) -- 90.09%
8. Gabrielle Ann B. Guevara (NCR) -- 90.02%
9. Selah Mae A. Eleazar (S. Tagalog) -- 89.96%
10. Katrina Leslie C. Nicolas (Bicol) -- 89.87%
The new Professional and Sub-Professional eligibles can be appointed to second level positions and first level positions, respectively, in government that are not covered by Bar, Board or other special laws, provided they meet the education, experience and training requirements of the positions, the CSC said.
The complete list of successful examinees of the March 29 career service Professional and Sub-Professional written examinations can be accessed at the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph. Those who failed may secure a copy of their Report of Rating also through the CSC website.
The CSC also announced that the deadline for application for the July 26 Professional and Sub-Professional written examinations is set on June 10.
