MANILA, Philippines—(UPDATE 2) At least one person was hurt and several vehicles were damaged in a grenade explosion outside a Methodist church in Quezon City at around noon Sunday, minutes before the start of the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight in Las Vegas, a police official said.

Chief Inspector Benjamin Elenzano said police teams had been sent to the crime scene.

He said the injured person was a lawyer, who was taken to St. Luke's Medical Center.

Two people were suspected to have been involved in the grenade-throwing incident, police said.

The explosion occurred after a worship service and while people were leaving the church, Elenzano said.
