Explosion hits Sultan Kudarat

MANILA, Philippines — An explosive device went off in Sultan Kudarat early Thursday, police said.
Senior Police Officer 4 Sonny Tagod said initial reports reaching the Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office showed that the road-side explosion happened in Tacurong City around 7 a.m., in front of a bank, according to radio reports.
No one was reported hurt in the incident, he said.
Authorities have yet to identify the type of explosive device used.
