Abducted boy dumped wounded off Talisay road
A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was abducted then abandoned wounded along a road in barangay Cansojong, Talisay City, southern Cebu.
The boy was wounded in the back when he was found by residents in sitio Nonoc at dawn yesterday.
The boy told police that three men forced him to ride a car past 2 a.m.
The boy said the three men tied his hands with a wire and blind-folded him.
The boy said he was forced to admit to the robbery. The boy said he told his abductors that he was never involved in a robbery.
After several minutes of traveling, the three men shot the boy in the back before dumping him off by the road.
Some residents brought the boy to the Talisay City District Hospital. He was later transferred to a hospital in Cebu City.
Police said the abductors could be victims of a robbery and tried to exact revenge.
