Free MRT-3, LRT-2 ride for workers on May 1, Labor Day
MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will offer free rides to workers on a limited period on May 1, Labor Day, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced on Friday.
According to an advisory from DOLE, employees and workers only need to present their company ID to avail of the free ride.
“Ipakita lamang ang inyong company ID (or government-issued ID para sa mga edad 18 pataas),” said DOLE.
The schedule for free rides in MRT-3 and LRT-2 will be as follows:
- 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
