Saudi: 84-year-old King Salman undergoes successful surgery

DUBAI — Saudi Arabia said its 84-year-old King Salman has undergone a successful surgery to remove his gallbladder.

On Monday, reports said he was admitted due to gall bladder inflammation. The next day, King Salman chaired a virtual cabinet meeting “from his office at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh,” according to the Saudi Press Agency.
