DID YOU KNOW: Metro Manila has 2nd most number of dengue cases

Metro Manila accounted for 19.94 percent or 3,614 dengue cases out of the 18,123 cases reported nationwide from Jan. 1 to March 3, 2018, according to the Department of Health.

The region recorded the second highest number of cases during the period, next to Calabarzon with 21 percent or 3,806 cases.

Latest DOH data also showed 12 deaths due to dengue were recorded in Metro Manila during the period. —Marielle Medina
