Trillanes mocks Duterte vow of ‘selling soul to devil’
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV mocked the remarks of President Rodrigo Duterte, who claimed he would “sell his soul to the devil” just to give repatriating overseas Filipino workers (OFW) a comfortable life in the Philippines.
“E parang benenta nya sa sarili nya yun di ba? Kasi sya nga yung, sya na yung ano e…Well, anyway…” Trillanes told reporters when sought for comment on Wednesday.

The senator, a staunch critic of the President, did not finish his statement as he opted to end his interview with the media.
In a speech in Malacañang on Tuesday, Duterte lamented the reported abuses being committed against overseas Filipino workers abroad, citing as example the discovery of the body of 29-year-old- Joanna Demafelis inside a freezer of her employers in Kuwait.
