SWS: Robredo rating in Mindanao up, appeal among ‘Laylayan’ drops
Vice President Leni Robredo posted an overall “good” satisfaction rating at 42%, backed by a 16 point increase in Mindanao, according to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
According to data released by the SWS on Wednesday night, 63% of Filipinos were satisfied with Robredo’s performance while 21% were dissatisfied in the fourth quarter of 2017.
While Robredo’s satisfaction ratings surged in Mindanao, she was down in Metro Manila by 8 points and in the Visayas by 5 points, the SWS said. She retained her ratings in Luzon.
The SWS said the downgrades were seen among those in Class E — the people in the “Laylayan” or fringes as Robredo called them — among 18 to 24 year olds, and among elementary school graduates.
The Vice President’s ratings stayed “moderate” in Metro Manila at +15, “good” in Luzon at +42, “very good” in the Visayas at +55, and “good” in Mindanao at +47.
