/ 03:24 PM December 17, 2017

Seven Quezon City jail guards were suspended on Sunday after an 18-year-old prisoner escaped from the penitentiary, Radyo Inquirer reported.

The suspended jail guards are Senior Inspector David Jambalos, SJO1 Dominador Zacarias, JO2 Antonio Ravago, JO1 Verdion Sayson, JO1 Ronnie Abugadie, JO1 Jhomer Balila, at SJO4 Remegino Mina, the report said.

QC jail warden Ermelito Moral was quoted as saying that the suspension would give way to a “full-blown” investigation into JR Mananquil’s escape.
