Where to pass during Nov. 13 Roxas Boulevard lockdown
Traffic will be rerouted on Monday in Manila as Roxas Boulevard will be on lockdown for the 31st Asean Summit.
In a one-page advisory, the Manila Police District said both lanes of Roxas Boulevard from P. Burgos Avenue to Buendia Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 12:01 a.m. until noon of Nov. 13.
Instead of the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard, motorists coming from Bonifacio Drive should turn left on P. Burgos Avenue. On the other hand, those from Jones Bridge, McArthur Bridge and Quezon Bridge should head for Taft.
Those taking the westbound lane of P. Burgos Avenue must turn right on Bonifacio Drive or they can make a U-turn on the eastbound lane of P. Burgos Avenue toward their destination.
Those on the westbound lane of TM Kalaw Street and the westbound lane of UN Avenue headed for Roxas Boulevard can turn left on MH del Pilar street. Another option for those coming from UN Avenue is to use the service road.
Motorists coming from the westbound lane of President Quirino Avenue are advised to take a left to Adriatico Street while vehicles traveling on westbound lane of Pablo Ocampo Street can turn left on FB Harrison to reach their destination.
