7 drug suspects nabbed in Olongapo City

OLONGAPO CITY—Police here arrested seven suspected drug pushers and users in simultaneous drug busts on Thursday (June 8).

Suspects Dan Joseph Cruz, 29, Joshua Hiron 32, Robert Daracay, 32, Shirley Samson, 35, Michael Ilagan, 23, Boyet Masucol, 37, and Andrew Cruz, 37, were placed under surveillance before the police drug enforcement units undertook buy-bust operations in the villages of Old Cabalan, West Bajac-Bajac, and Pag-asa, said Senior Supt. Melchor Cabalza III, acting director of Olongapo City Police Office.

Seized from the suspects were 13 pieces of plastic sachets containing alleged “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride), drug paraphernalia, and marked money.
