Marcos brothers, wife express gratitude to President on Father’s Day

MANILA, Philippines — As the country celebrates Father’s Day, the sons of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed their gratitude to their dad for his love, wisdom, and guidance.
In a video posted on Marcos’ Facebook page, his three sons — Ferdinand Alexander, Joseph Simon, and William Vincent shared a sweet message for their father.
His eldest son, who now serves as the House’s senior deputy majority leader and Ilocos Norte 1st District representative, thanked Marcos for “standing up for what he believed is right” and “being resolute in the face of adversity.”
“Thank you so much for everything that you do for the family, for everything that you do for us. Your constant guidance. It’s an honor for me to learn from you on a daily basis,” Rep. Ferdinand Alexander said
“I hope that despite your busy, busy schedule, you can at least hopefully find some time to rest. I couldn’t ask for a better dad. I couldn’t ask for a better mentor. And I couldn’t ask for anyone better than you to work with. S,o thank you for imparting your wisdom to me,” he added.
For his part, William Vincent shared that the chief executive has expressed his affection through all five love languages.
“Like, he always spent time with us. He gave us gifts growing up. So, yeah, I think best of all worlds,” he said,
“My favorite bonding moments with my dad are just the time we spend together doing something. Whether it’s kayaking or just watching TV. Basta being together, like, in the same room is really nice,” he also revealed.

On the other hand, his second son described Marcos as the “best possible father” he could ever have.
“Thank you so much for being there. I couldn’t have gotten anywhere without you. (I love you so much. And I hope you’re having the best Father’s Day possible,” Simon said.
In a separate post, Marcos’ wife, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos shared a collage of her husband and kids with a short caption: “Happy Father’s Day to the love of my life.”
