Woman who tops QC-Masambong drug watch list, 26 nabbed
MANILA — A female drug suspect, tagged as the No. 1 on the drugs watchlist of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 2, was arrested along with 26 others during a buy-bust operation on Saturday night.
Monica Delasan, 24, was caught during the trade of money and drugs at No. 16 Gen. Segundo St. in Brgy. Sta. Cruz at around 6 p.m. An operative from the Masambong Police Station posed as a buyer of a plastic sachet of shabu. Immediately after handing out the money to the target, the police officer called for back-up and arrested Delasan.
Authorities also later on discovered that the same address was used by the suspect and her cohorts as a drug den where shabu was sold to customers and drug users were allowed to have pot sessions.
Twenty-six other individuals were arrested for possession of shabu and for visiting the drug den. Most of them came from nearby barangays in Quezon City and others from Antipolo.
Seized from the suspects were 13 sachets of shabu, 23 aluminum foil strips, five lighters and two weighing scales.

The QCPD chief, Senior Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, said information from concerned citizens helped them identify the suspects and the location of the drug den.
“If there are other drug dens like these in Quezon City, we encourage them to immediately report this to us to stop the problem of illegal drugs in the city,” he added. SFM
