ThreeSixty Pharmacy’s One Thousand Cranes run at IT Park today

SOME OF the Cebu’s best runners are expected to compete in the One Thousand Cranes  run of the ThreeSixty Pharmacy today starting at the Asiatown IT Park in barangay Lahug.

The running event is the second of three races lined up by ThreeSixty Pharmacy for this year. The first one was held last April 9 dubbed The ThreeSixty  Night Race held at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.

Today’s race aims to help the victims of the March 11 earthquake in Japan. Part of the proceeds of this event will be given to the Japan Red Cross Society.

There will be 3-, 6- and 15-kilometer races for this race. There will also be 100- and 200-meter runs for kids. Assembly will be at 4:30 a.m.

Cash prizes for the winning runners in the 15k  is pegged at P10,000. 6k first placers will  get P5,000. 3k and kiddie dash winners, on the other hand,  will receive medals.  Spicing up the event will be the raffling out of a brand-new motorcycle, two laptops and two iPad tablets after the race./CORRESPONDENT DALE G.
