CCBI hoop semis cast complete

THE Marty Pimentel Customs Brokerage and the Cebu Customs United Personeros Association (CCUPA) routed separate foes on Thursday to complete the semifinal cast along with powerhouse Cebama and MS Trucking Services in the 1st Personeros-CCBI summer basketball tournament at the Benedicto College gym in Mandaue City.

Pimentel led 18-12 in the opening period before exploding the rest of the way to seal the 24-point rout of CG Customs Brokerage, 71-47.

Rookie sensation Nikki Pimentel had 11 points for Pimentel Brokers which used a swarming defense to deny any of their opponents from scoring in double figures.

Earlier, CCUPA used a strong finishing kick to beat Majos Customs Brokerage, 84-69. Majos led in the first three quarters before CCUPA exploded in the final canto for the comfortable win.
