Thunderstorms expected in different parts of PH Friday—Pagasa

Thunderstorms are expected in different parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, the state weather bureau said.

In separate advisoriesued at 10 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said thunderstorm was more likely to develop in Albay, Metro Manila, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Metro Cebu, Ilocos Norte, and Benguet within 12 hours.

Pagasa earlier said the southwest monsoon was affecting Luzon.

It said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur,  La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Benguet, Batanes, Cagayan, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya and Isabela, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Aurora.
