Thunderstorm affects Metro, nearby provinces
The state weather bureau on Thursday issued a thunderstorm advisory over Metro Manila and nearby areas.
In an advisory issued at 5:14 p.m. the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said thunderstorm is affecting portions of Metro Manila; Sta.Cruz, Candelaria, Masinloc,Palauig in Zambales; Maragondon in Cavite; Rizal and portions of Bulacan.
Pagasa said these may persist within the next two hours.
The bureau advised the public to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods. TVJ/rga
