Panama raids warehouse of company at heart of documents leak
PANAMA CITY — Panamanian officials have raided a warehouse of the law firm Mossack Fonseca, which has been at the center of the huge document leak related to offshore accounts.
Special prosecutor for organized crime Javier Caraballo says large quantities of documents related to the company were found, but it’s not clear what information they contain. Agents carried off multiple bags of shredded paper.

Mossack Fonseca said Friday in a statement that it sends materials to the facility for recycling and any information there had already been digitized and handed over to prosecutors.
The firm’s main office was searched last week.
