School denies certificate to salutatorian despite court order

Santo Niño Parochial School in Quezon City has refused to issue a certificate of good moral character to its salutatorian Krisel Mallari despite orders from the Court of Appeals.

Public Attorney’s Office chief Persida Acosta said Mallari, accompanied by PAO lawyers, went to the school to get the certificate.

The appeals court order issued on July 29 requiring the school to issue the good moral character certificate is immediately executory.
