Wall collapses, kills 4 in Valenzuela

MANILA, Philippines – Three children and an adult were killed instantly when a wall collapsed in Valenzuela City due to strong winds brought about by Typhoon “Pedring”, an official said.

Ahna Mejia, Velenzuela chief public information officer, told the Philippine Daily Inquirer that members of the Valenzuela City Rescue Unit were in Mapulang Lupa to assist the families of the victims.

The incident happened around 11 a.m.

Mejia said that aside from the four, there were no other typhoon-related deaths reported in the city so far.
