Benhur Luy list more believable, says INQUIRER.net poll
MANILA, Philippines—More than half of INQUIRER.net polled readers believe whistleblower Benhur Luy’s list of alleged government officials involved in the pork barrel scam.
Out of 5,482 votes, 57 percent or 3,112 votes backed Benhur Luy on the poll question, “Which of the following lists you think is believable?”
But 34 percent or 1,884 votes answered “None of the Above.”
The lists of Janet Lim-Napoles and rehabilitation czar Panfilo Lacson had the least votes. The former had six percent or 331 votes while the latter had 3 percent or 155 votes.
The poll ran from May 20 to June 3.
The list of Napoles, the alleged pork barrel mastermind, listed 20 senators and 100 congressmen and their agents. Luy, a relative and a former aide of Napoles, tagged 25 past and present Senators and more than a hundred House members.
