Man out on bail shot dead in Mandaluyong City
MANILA, Philippines—An 18-year-old man who, according to his live-in partner, was out on bail after being charged with illegal possession of firearms was shot dead in Mandaluyong City early Wednesday.
According to Senior Insp. Herculano Mago, Mandaluyong police investigation chief, Reymart Scuadra was on his way to Pasig when he was shot at 3:40 a.m. on Magalona Street in Barangay (village) Daang Bakal.
He was killed instantly although the police were still waiting for the result of an autopsy to determine how many times he was shot.
Mago said the police have also yet to find out who killed him and why.—Kristine Felisse Mangunay
