Guns, drugs seized in Danao raids

ASSORTED firearms and packs of suspected shabu were seized from two houses in separate police raids in Danao City, northern Cebu, past 8 a.m.

The subjects of the raids, cousins Rolando Banzon Casas and Quillo Banzon, were not at home when agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas conducted the raid.

Police said seized from Casas’ house were four medium packs of suspected shabu and P1,000 cash while Banzon’s house yielded 10 packs of suspected shabu and seven assorted firearms.

Although they were not arrested, appropriate charges will still be filed against the two cousins, said police./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
