3 more bodies found in quake-hit Bohol towns

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Philippines—Rescuers recovered two bodies in Loon town and another in Maribojoc town on Thursday afternoon, Engr. Verneil Balaba of the Office of the Civil Defense based in Bohol said.

He said all the victims were female.

The recovery brought to 160 the total number of fatalities in Bohol.  One hundred eighty-eight (188) others were reported injured.

Balaba said they were keeping the number of the missing persons at 21 because they had yet to verify the identities of the victims.

He said they wanted to check if the two women found in Loon were among the 11 who were reported missing in the municipality.

The 10 others were in Tagbilaran City, 3; Clarin, 3; and Antequera, 4.
