Court defers arraignment of 2 Davantes slay suspects

MANILA, Philippines – The Las Pinas Regional Trial Court Branch 253 has rescheduled the arraignment of two of the suspected killers of advertising executive Kristelle “Kae” Davantes.

Lloyd Benedict Enriquez and Reggie Diel were supposed to be arraigned this Monday but the court granted the request of the prosecutors.

The arraignment has been moved to Oct. 17.

The prosecutor told the court that it would best to wait for the result of the preliminary investigation on the other suspects – Samuel Decimo, Kelvin Jorek Evangelista, Jomar Pepito and Baser Mislang before pushing through with the arraignment.

Davantes was found dead under a bridge in Silang, Cavite last month. Her car was recovered on September  15, a week after her body was found.
