2 children killed in Pangasinan landslide

MANILA, Philippines– Two children were killed in a landslide due to heavy rainfall brought about by Typhoon “Mina” (international codename: Nanmadol)in Pangasinan on Saturday morning, police said.

The children of a Rolly Bautista were killed after being buried in mud when their house was hit by a landslide in Rabon village San Fabian Pangasinan, said Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman.

The incident happened at around 6 a.m., he said.

As of posting time, Mina is pounding Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
