10 killed in car bomb north of Baghdad—officials

BAQUBA, Iraq—A car bomb ripped through a commercial shopping street in a restive area north of Baghdad late Tuesday, killing at least 10 people and wounding 15 others, officials said.

The vehicle rigged with explosives was detonated around 10:30 p.m. (1930 GMT) in a village just north of the Diyala provincial capital Baquba, a police lieutenant colonel and a doctor said.
