7th National B’building Asia Pacific C’ship set

SOME of the best bodybuilders in the country and in the Asian region will converge in the pristine beaches of Boracay Island, Aklan for the 7th National Bodybuilders Association (NABBA) Asia Pacific International Amateur Championships 2013 slated May 2 to 5.

Aside from local bets, other competitors will be coming from New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal, Singapore and Malaysia.

The event is organized by Cebu Workout Fitness Center’s Dennis Delgado and sanctioned by the NABBA International and Samahan ng mga Barbelista ng Pilipinas. Delgado was also the man behind the Phil-Asia International Bodybuilding Championships last year that was held at the Mariners Court in Cebu City.

The upcoming bodybuilding competition will be held at the Beach Front of La Carmela de Boracay.

Delgado said among the top contenders include Dennis Jeros of Malaysia and Pun Kishor Kumar of Nepal. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
