Hurt Americans

A 38-year-old American was stabbed  by his partner after having  a heated argument  in barangay Lipata, Minglanilla town, Cebu.

George Spadaco  was rushed to the hospital for treatment after he was attacked by his partner, Charlot Langgaman at past 8 a.m. last Sunday.

Police arrested Langgaman but she was later released after both parties agreed to settle their differences amicably.

Another American was taken to the hospital after he allegedly tried to kill himself in his hotel room in Lapu-Lapu City.

Police said the 50-year-old American slashed his left wrist with a knife.

Bogo Strafing

A motorcycle-riding gunman strafed a businessman’s house in sitio Camansili, barangay Binabag, Bogo City in northern Cebu.

Businessman Camilo Becaldo, 65, said the attack happened at past 1 a.m. yesterday.

No one was hurt. Police recovered eight empty shells and four slugs of a .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene. The strafing attack damaged the windows and theTV of the Becaldo.

Becaldo, who owns a farm, trucking company, and has a charcoal-making business, said he didn’t know why he was attacked./Correspondents Christine Pantaleon and Joy Quito

Masiao arrests

Police arrested four men who were caught with masiao tally sheets in Tabogon town in northern Cebu.
