POLICE in Central Visayas are pursuing the Korean national suspected to be the mastermind of syndicate responsible for stealing vehicles in Metro Cebu.

Supt. Pablo Labra II, PRO-7’s acting Regional Intelligence Division chief, said they were coordinating with the Bureau of Immigration and the International Police to find out the whereabouts and the background of the suspect Lim Ho Sung also known as “Mr. Lim.”

Another Korean, Cho Hyun Cher, who was also accused as the suspected co-mastermind of the syndicate, earlier denied the accusations.

In the past week, police recovered 13 stolen Starex vans and arrested five Koreans linked to the car thefts. The Koreans had since posted bail./Correspondent Chito O. Aragon
