Koreans robbed

Two men on a motorcycle held up two Koreans last Sunday along A.S. Fortuna St., Bakilid, Mandaue City.

Park Sun Mi, 28, and Choi Ri Na, 30, who are staying at the  CIA (Cebu International Academy) went out to get their laundry at 9:30 p.m. to collect their laundry from an establishment in barangay Bakilid.

As they were heading home, two men on a motorcycle stopped, one man got off and approached them with a gun.

Lapu Stabbing

A man stabbed  his female neighbor after she asked him where her daughter was in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.

Felicitas delos Santos, of sitio Marbeach, suffered several stab wounds in her stomach after Francisco Aton Jr., 25, attacked her.

Investigation showed that the Aton approached Delos Santos, who was washing clothes when Aton sat in front of him.

When she asked him where her daughter was, Aton suddenly grabbed her neck, pulled out a knife from his waist and stabbed the victim several times.

Burglar strikes

A burglar struck at the house of a 60-year-old widow last Sunday and fled with at least P30,000 worth of valuables.

Elena Copino told police that she found out about the burglary when she woke up at 2 a.m. last Sunday.

Among the stolen items were a Nokia cellular phone worth P15,000, a Michael Kors wallet worth P3,000 and a multi-colored shoulder bag worth P1,500.

She said tried to chase the burglar but he escaped with his cohort.

 Balamban attack

Two men on a motorcycle shot and killed two Balamban residents, who were also on a motorcycle last Sunday.

Eusebio Lugay, 39, and Clifford Tan, 45, died after they were treated of their wounds at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

Police said that the victims were riding a motorcycle driven by Lugay heading to Balamban from Toledo City when two men drove beside them and shot them several times.
