Lapu-Lapu worker faces court trial for not issuing receipt
AN employee of the Office of the Registry of Deeds in Lapu-Lapu City will be facing trial for failing to issue an official receipt.
Kim Sansan was indicted by the Office of the Ombudsman for the Visayas on charges of violating provisions of Presidential Decree 1445 or the Government Audutung Code.
Bail was recommended at P2,000.
The case stemmed from a complaint of Cipriano Lagura, who gave P600 to the respondent as payment of the release of a Certificate of Title.
The complainant said Sansan did not give him an official receipt for the payment on Nov. 25, 2009.
Although the complainant lacked requirements in order to secure what he wanted, Sansan said she released the document to the complainant for “humanitarian considerations.”
