Retooled Big Chill faces JRU Bombers

THE BIG CHILL Superchargers hope to flaunt off their revamped roster when they battle the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Superchargers fell short of their title dreams in the Foundation Cup when they lost to the mighty NLEX Road Warriors.

However, Big Chill appears ready and able to go for another run at the crown once more when it breaks out UAAP Mythical Five guard Far Eastern University’s Terrence Romeo in today’s game.

In the other game, the Fruitas Shakers debut against the Cafe France Bakers at 4 pm. Set to play in the D-League for the first time is former University of Cebu standout and current FEU forward Roger Pogoy, who will play for the Bakers.

Another Cebuano playing in this game is another former UC stalwart in Jan Colina, who will suit up for the Shakers. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
