B-MEG booters try to keep semis hopes alive

THE B-MEG Camellanz will be fighting for a chance to advance to the semifinals as it faces CATS FC today in the ongoing 1st Aero Technical Football Cup at the Mactan Benito Ebuen Airbase Football Field in Lapu-Lapu City.

B-MEG Camellanz posted its first win with an impressive 5-2 thrashing of tournament favorite Metropolitan FC, 5-2, last weekend.

Glenn Montesclaros scored a hat-trick, scoring his first goal in the 12th minute of the first half and the other two late in the second half.

The rest of B-MEG Camellanz goals were contributed by Jason Mangubat and Clarence Rosco.

The win gave the B-MEG a 1-1-1 (win-draw-loss) record behind Bracket A leaders Avengers FC and Metropolitan FC.

This tournament is organized by Philsca and Phillippine Airforce (PAF) Inter-Wing Units with the aim of establishing an annual football league on Mactan Island sanctioned by the Cebu Football Association (CFA). /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON WITH PR
