CCPO lauds Aboitiz for support to police force

THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) gave recognition to Aboitiz Foundation president Jon Ramon Aboitiz and Visayan Electric Company (Veco) executive vice president Jaime Jose Aboitiz for extending assistance to the city’s police force.

The awards were given during the celebration of the 17th Police Community Relations Month and the blessing of the newly renovated CCPO headquarters in Camp Sotero Cabahug, Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City.

Jon Ramon was recognized for supporting the construction of a new police station in barangay Parian. Veco’s Aboitiz was commended for replacing old wiring with new wiring in the CCPO headquarters.

Aboitiz Foundation manager for project development and management Danilo Cerence accepted the award on their behalf.

Also recognized were organizations, business and government personalities who made significant contributions to the CCPO.

In his message, CCPO Director Melvin Ramon Buenafe thanked their community partners.
