SSS Cebu branch to hold Pensioners’ Day at SM
THE Social Security System Cebu branch will once again hold its Pensioners’ Day at SM City Cebu on Sept. 28.
The event is for the benefit of SSS pensioners residing in Cebu City.
The Pensioners’ Day program is a socialization and medical assistance program launched on March 19, 2004 for SSS pensioners.
The activity is the government agency’s way of giving back what is due to the pensioners as part of their corporate social responsibility.
SSS invites retirees to attend and listen to informative talks on various medical conditions as well as avail of free medical check-ups, free medicines and vitamins, referrals and prescriptions for those with serious ailments.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Trade Hall located at the third level of the mall.
