Stags, Knights eye solo NCAA lead today

TWO OF THE THREE league-leaders in the NCAA basketball tournament collide as the San Sebastian Stags face the Letran Knights for the solo leadership in the standings at the Arena in San Juan City.
Both teams have been enjoying a relatively easy ride following three straight wins but will finally get to test their true worth when they see action in the main event set at 4 p.m.
In the first seniors match at 2 p.m., the Lyceum Pirates are gunning for another back-to-back feat, this time against the Arellano U Chiefs.
The Pirates are still in high spirits, after toppling pre-tournament favorite Mapua, 76-73, only last Monday to improve to 3-2 (win-loss). /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
