Blue Devils nip Vipers

THE STREAM Blue Devils torched the Aegis People Support Vipers, 83-78, to earn a piece of the lead in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym, last Sunday.

Stream padded its winning run to six, tying the Convergys Wolves at the top spot with identical 6-1 (win-loss) records.

Roderick Mangubat led Stream with 20 points.

In the other game, Lexmark nailed their fifth victory with a resounding 103-53 trashing of the Supportsave Dragons.

Mervin Balansag fired 22 points, Jose Felix Cleopas delivered 12 for the Dragons, who tied the defending champions Teletech Titans at 5-1.
